I have been very impressed with how 2020 has started in terms of makeup and skincare, so I am really excited to share this edit with you. There are some real crackers!
NARS Tinted Glow Booster
I’ve been absolutely loving this brand new complexion launch from NARS and I know I’m not alone. I get compliments on my skin every time I wear it. It’s a brilliant multi-tasker because it’s perfect for when you need a little something on no makeup days and also makes a wonderful foundation primer for healthy glowing skin.

Hourglass Vanish Airbrush Concealer
This is another complexion launch that’s winning for me. I love Hourglass’ Vanish foundation stick and this new concealer is no disappointment.
It has a lovely light creamy texture, offers amazing coverage yet looks and feels really light on the skin. The formula blends like a dream, doesn’t settle into fine lines and resists creasing brilliantly, plus it’s great for covering darkness, and purple tones under the eyes, and also balances redness instantly. Excellent.

New Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lipstick & Liner Shades
This new launch made lots of people happy. The Pillow Talk lipstick has earned itself cult status for being a perfect nude, but it only worked as a nude for certain fairer skin tones. January 2020 saw the expansion of the range with two new nude shades to cater for a much wider range of skin tones.

This is another gorgeous complexion hero that has launched this year and it’s all about a glowy, dewy complexion. I have been using Milky Boost for when I don’t really want to wear makeup, but I want to even out skintone. It’s perfect for my pilates classes and makes it much more pleasant to look in the mirror!
It is a white milk that transforms to match your skintone, offering a boost of hydration and sheer coverage that just makes you look like you have juicy, even skin. On makeup days, I add concealer and the whole shebang, and it serves me well as a foundation too.

Anastasia Amrezy Palette
This is a really exciting palette because it is the first ever palette to contain 16 all-new shades. I especially like it because it features a wide range of different finishes, including a brand new formula – the pressed glitters and also a brilliant selection of shades that take you from day to night.

Origins Hello Calm CBD Mask
This is another gorgeous mask and one that embraces the CBD trend with it’s inclusion of Cannabis Sativa Seed Oil, its hero ingredient. It feels instantly calming, soothing and nourishing, and is a brilliant second step antidote to an acid exfoliating treatment, if you like to multi-mask. Dr Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Pore Perfecting & Refining Serum
I couldn’t miss this off from my Top 10 Beauty Products Released in January 2020 list. It makes my skin look so pretty! It’s like a filter for no makeup days and when I do wear makeup, products go on so smoothly on top.
It uses a blend of Glycolic, Lactic, Malic, Citric, Mandelic, Salicylic Acids and Willowbark Extract to exfoliate, accelerate cell turnover, dissolve waxy build up to clear pores and prevent breakouts.
It’s a gorgeous silky serum that feels comfortable and hydrating. It gives my skin a instantly juicy look with a good helping of glow. It really enhances the look of my skin and blurs the appearance of pores, while it works on declogging them and refining the skin’s texture.

Jo Malone Vetiver & Golden Vanilla
This new launch from Jo Malone London is delicious!! I liked this new fragrance from the very first spritz. I adore Vanilla if it’s not too sickly sweet, and the Vetiver gives it the edge it needs to stop it doing that.
I think this scent will appeal to men and women because the warm vanilla softens out the tradtional masculinity of the Vetiver, and in turn the Vetiver toughens up the Vanilla. It’s such a great combination.
