What is Origins Hello Calm?

I love using masks as a core part of my skincare regime and have been getting on really well with products that contain Cannabis Sativa Seed Oil. I love the Kiehl’s Cannabis Sativa Seed Oil Herbal Concentrate and also the Marie Reynolds Restore Mask which has Hemp Protein at the top of it’s ingredient list. That one is a complete anti-inflammatory miracle worker.

My Review of Origins Hello Calm Relaxing & Hydrating Face Mask

The Origins Hello Calm is a lovely mask with a gorgeous creamy texture that makes it so pleasant to use. It is really easy to apply, and although the instructions recommend a generous layer, a thinner layer also works really well.

It feels instantly calming, soothing and nourishing, and is a brilliant second step antidote to an acid exfoliating treatment. I used it straight after The Ordinary AHA BHA Peel and it delivered brilliant hydration and left my skin looking super smooth with a great glow.

I also found it to be excellent on the appearance of enlarged pores which, for me, is a good indication of the hydration levels of my skin. They always look like they are hanging open when my skin is dehydrated, and appear much tighter when it is effectively hydrated.

You can leave it on for 10-20 minutes (or longer if you want) then tissues off the bulk and then really massage in the rest. I love the instant results. It’s a really nice mask that delivers what it promises.

I’d recommend using this in the evening as it can be a little tricky to tissue off and it can leave a bit of green, as you can see on my eyebrows!!
