When I found out that there was a Tom Ford Rose Prick Lipstick collection I knew I had to have it, to join the fragrance which I adore. Apart from the fact that the shades are beautiful, the packaging is just so gorgeous! It is just heaven. Here’s a look at both the shades.
Aren’t they just so pretty!? I don’t think I’ve ever loved the look of a lipstick more. It was the bottle I fell for first with the Rose Prick fragrance, but what was inside was definitely no disappointment. I can safely say the same for these lipsticks.
In case you missed it, I am a big fan of the fragrance. You can read the review here.
What shade is Tom Ford Rose Prick Lipstick?
There are two shades in this collection, 03 Casablanca* and 04 Indian Rose*. They are both absolutely beautiful – keep reading for individual swatches. These are exisiting best selling Tom Ford shades in limited edition Rose Prick packaging.
Both shades are gorgeously creamy and blended with soja seed extract, murumuru butter and chamomile flower oil. They have a long lasting formula infused with Tom Ford’s specially treated colour pigments to for intense colour pay off and a luminous finish. Everything about the lipsticks is gorgeous.
Tom Ford Rose Prick Lipstick Swatches
Swatching TF lipsticks is always a little bit painful but my trick is always to swatch from the back so that I don’t ruin the logo. I actually use the same technique for application as well. It just makes diving in that little bit easier!
Swatches – 03 Casablanca* and 04 Indian Rose*
The formula is incredible, and both shades have a real depth to them. I am loving both the colours, but if I had to choose, I think I’d go for Indian Rose. Both shades make stunning cream blush shades too – just as a little FYI!
I have lip swatches of both – mainly because I literally couldn’t wait to get them on my lips. The formula is super smoothing and feels really moisturising and nourishing. After the swatch session, I kept Indian Rose on and the colour lasted really well. My lips still felt moisturised after three hours and the colour was intact.
04 Indian Rose
In case you are interested, on my skin is the Tom Ford Shade & Illuminate Foundation, with no concealer, a dusting of the new By Terry Pressed Hydra-Powder and a touch of Guerlain Terracotta Nude. That’s it. All blog posts linked.

I know that this is a Charlotte Tilbury phrase, but these lipsticks really are happiness in a tube!!
