Wander Beauty Nude Illusion Swatches
I have two shades to show you, Fair-Light and Light:

This foundation has a gorgeous fluid texture that glides on to the skin and blends out effortlessly. It’s creamy but light, just how I like a liquid foundation to be.

Before & After
I decided to go for shade Fair-Light which suits my skin tone best, as I find both shades get the tiniest bit darker after they have sat on the skin for a little while.
Here’s me with just skincare and SPF:

And here’s me with shade Fair Light:

I haven’t used anything else on the skin other than bronzer – no concealer, powder or setting spray. This was meant to be a shot with no other makeup other than the foundation, but I got so carried away with what a lovely base it made, that I couldn’t stop myself trying my Gucci bronzer over it.
You see, the Gucci bronzer requires a really smooth base for even application, and this really provided that very well, without powder, which is often my preference.
Also, if it looks like I am wearing different mascaras on each eye, it’s because I am! Check out my Pat McGrath Dark Star vs Fetisheyes blog post.
On my lips is the gorgeous Mrs Kisses.
My Review of Wander Beauty Nude Illusion Liquid Foundation
The finish of Wander Beauty Nude Illusion is really beautiful. As you blend it out, it’s initally velvety matte and then after a few minutes warming on the skin, it gets a gorgeous natural glow without being overly dewy. I didn’t feel any desire to set it with powder as it seems to sit seamlessly on the skin, and doesn’t leave any stickiness or tackiness.
As I said above, the Gucci bronzer applied over the top evenly and effortlessly without the need for powder, which is impressive as I had to powder the Dior Summer Skin, and it still went on patchily. This is a major thumbs up for me because it has the right amount of matte to create a smooth, flawless base, but still settles into a radiant glow. Excellent.

It feels hydrating on the skin, yet lasted really well, and didn’t really even wear away where my reading glasses and sunglasses sit. I think it suits my combination skin type really well.
One dip of the doe foot gave me a gorgeous even base, it smoothed over visible pores and didn’t accentuate lines and wrinkles. The coverage in one layer is enough for me to skip concealer. This is definitely a win for me.!
