This new product from Philosophy, is all about hydration and glow which is a big theme this year with launches like Drunk Elephant’s F-Balm and the Paula’s Choice Water-Infusing Electrolyte Moisturiser.

What is Philosophy Renewed Hope in a Jar Water Cream?

This is described as a hyaluronic glow moisturiser which got me very excited!!

My Review

This moisturiser has an interesting texture that’s like a whipped mousse that melts into water as you massage it into the skin. It smooths over the skin with ease and feels instantly quenching and cooling.

I really like the way it makes my skin look. It has an immediate smoothing effect and delivers the glassy glow that it promises. I find it leaves a light, tacky texture which makes it ideal as a base for makeup to grip to whilst adding radiance and a hit of moisture at the same time.

My only reservation with this formula is dimethicone which is the eighth ingredient on the list. If you have sensitive skin, or intolerance to silicones, it might not be the best for you.

Where to buy the new Water Cream
