I keep on saying that 2020 is the year of the bronzer and here is the Dior Summer 2020 bronzer collection to add into the mix! Check out Dior Diorskin Mineral Nude Bronze from teh Color Games 2020 Summer collection. I have both the shades here with photos and swatches.
I really love the Dior compact packaging. It is always beautifully sleek and slim which means not only does it look gorgeous, but it fits easily into your makeup bag.
What is Diorskin Mineral Nude Bronze?
- Bronzer is infused with golden or rosy minerals
- Minerals have beneficial properties to enhance and protect the skin
- Defends from external stress factors and impurities
- Enriched with vitamins and trace elements
- Each shade is designed with two tones – one shade enhances the face; the other flushes the cheeks with a shot of energy
- Gives the skin a sun-kissed glow and nude makeup look
- Warms the colour of the complexion for a luminous and natural healthy glow effect
- Available in 2 colour 01 Light Flame for fair skin and 02 Warm Flame for darker skin
Here are the shades of both bronzers mixed together (to demonstate using a brush swirled over both shades) – Light Flame and Warm Flame:
And below I have split the shades of each colourway.
Light Flame:
Warm Flame:
Application – Which Shade is for you?
I thought it would be useful to show them both on my face with really simple makeup looks, as the Light one is pretty light, and you might be in two minds as to whether it will work for you. I have used exactly the same makeup for each – the Skinesis Skin Insurance SPF50 and a little bit of Pat McGrath Mascara.
Here is Light Flame liberally applied:
And here is Warm Flame lightly applied:
I think it really important to note that I could be a lot more liberal with the lighter shade all over the pan and had to go much more lightly and carefully with the darker colourway. On my skin tone, Light Flame is much more fool proof, whereas I needed to take more care with Warm Flame to avoid over applying.
For Warm Flame, I used a smaller brush in the centre and applied the darker colour as more of a contour. I used a larger brush and focused it on the outer part of the pan to avoid the colour being too dark on my skin.
I love the formula of both. It is super smooth and creamy and creates a beautiful diffused finish on the skin that looks almost airbrushed. Love it!
