Sarah Chapman Skin Insurance SPF 50 now comes in a brand new untinted Invisible formula. This is excellent news for those that were struggling to match the tinted formula to their skin tone. Here’s what you need to know.

The Skinesis Skin Insurance SPF50 first launched in 2020 and was created in response to requests from fans of the original SPF 30 formula for higher sun protection.

The original Skin Insurance has earned itself cult favourite status since its launch in 2015 and I was thrilled when it became available in SPF50+. I am most definitely a high protection type of girl!

The new product offers the same benefits as the tinted SPF50+ but this time without the tint.

My Review of Sarah Chapman Skin Insurance SPF 50+ Skinesis – New Invisible Untinted Formula

Highlights

• Super lightweight and easy to blend
• Feels weightless on the skin
• No white caste
• Sinks in well with no tacky feel
• Provides a good base for makeup

The new formula is lovely and really easy to use. It has an elegant texture with zero white caste and is undetectable on the skin.

I love the Tinted version as it gives the skin a lovely dewy glow and soft tint, but I know that some people found that it wasn’t quite working with their skintones. So, I think the new invisible formula will be a welcome addition to the Skinesis family.

Although the formula has been designed to be the same as the other SPF50 product but without the tint, I actually think it has a less dewy finish on the skin. In my opinion it sinks in more, and has less of a glossy appearance. This could be good news for anyone that wants something a little bit more matte. It is not flat matte though, so all good for me too.

Before and After Photos of the Tinted Formula

As Sarah Chapman Skin Insurance SPF 50+ is a skin perfecting tint, as well as an SPF, I thought it would be useful to share before and after photos of it on my skin like I would a foundation.

It gives the complexion a gorgeous dewiness instantly. It is very glowy as it is first applied, and then it gently dries down to a gorgeous glow. If you like a full coverage you might want to add a layer of foundation over the top, or you could just apply concealer to the areas that need it.

The formula feels light and comfortable on the skin and sits very well under other makeup without breaking up or pilling. It’s a big thumbs up from me.
