I am so pleased I have this quad because when I was looking at the new formula and colourways, this was the one I was most interested in. It’s an all-matte quad but with the most beautiful lustrous creaminess and wonderful rich neutrals. I absolutely love it.

My Review of Tom Ford Smoky Quartz

At the moment, I only have one of the new Tom Ford Eye Color Creme Eyeshadow Quad collection for 2022 to share with you. Luckily, I think that Tom Ford Smoky Quartz is my favourite!!

The whole palette uses a creamy matte formula and it’s so smooth and pigmented. The colour picks up effortlessly on any kind of brush, even a really fluffy one and there’s absolutely no fall out. It’s quite incredible.

Every shade blends like a dream and no matter how quickly I apply, there are no harsh lines or patchiness. It’s just lovely.

The two top shades are really pretty on their own but I mainly like to use the top left beige shade in the crease to start, then build up the top right dusty nude shade over the lid and up over the crease.

The bottom left terracotta shade is great for building up intensity on the lid and outer corner and finally the bottom right deeper brown is great for lining, smoking up the look and really deepening the crease for more drama.

I am absolutely loving Tom Ford Smoky Quartz and I have to confess, it’s the only eyeshadow I have been using since I got it a few weeks ago. It’s a perfect every day palette and you can really smoke it up if you want something more intense for the evening.

I have collected quite a few different Tom Ford palettes over the years but I have to say, I think this formula is my absolute favourite. They have definitely upped their game with this one.

I can do a quick look in about 30 seconds, or spend a bit longer if I want to create a bit more dimension, but it’s basically so easy to apply. The longevity is brilliant and I find the colour stays in place no matter what I have been up to.

For your information, the mascara in the photo above is the new Clinique Zero Gravity.
