I have been testing out this really exciting serum from US brand Strivectin. It innovatively combines two of the most important ingredients for skincare and managing healthy skin ageing. Here’s the lowdown on Strivectin Super-C Retinol Brighten & Correct Vitamin C Serum. If you are looking for something super effective on dullness, lines and skin texture, with zero downtime, this is for you.
For so long we have been told that Vit C is for the morning and Retinols are for the evening. However, this product combines them both in one formula.
I was desperate to try this out because I was first made aware of Strivectin when I was in my early twenties, when there was a lot of press about their stretchmark cream’s ability to work on wrinkles too. Sadly it was only available in the US, but luckily I didn’t actually have any wrinkles then!
Strivectin have been developing products since 2002 and they have extremely robust biomedical research and clinical testing process. Every product contains their exclusive NIA-114 Technology, which is a patented form of Niacin/Vitamin B3 with enhanced bio-availability. This boosts its ability to strengthen the skin barrier – key to any kind of skincare regime. The technology has been in development for over 35 years.

Strivectin Super-C Retinol Key Ingredients
What makes this formula special is that it uses optimal concentrations of gold standard ingredients which are supercharged by the brand’s hero NIA-114 technology – an optimised form of Niacin Vitamin B3.
The formula uses two potent forms of Vitamin C to visibly firm and brighten the skin. There are two forms of stabilized Vitamin C (Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate and Ascorbyl Glucoside), plus a pure Vitamin C from Acerola Cherry Juice.
It is a combination of active and effective derivatives of vitamin C which have been tested for stability, tolerability, and clinical efficacy.
The Retinol in the Strivectin Super-C Retinol Serum has been carefully calibrated and balanced with the Vitamin C ingredients for efficacy and 100% tolerability. Clinical trials over 12 weeks of use have confirmed this.
I absolutely love the texture of this serum. It’s a silky, elegant formula that’s super light, yet it feels so hydrating and smoothing on the skin.
It sinks in much more quickly than other Vitamin C serums I have tried, and it doesn’t leave any stickiness or tackiness. As I said, it’s such an elegant texture.
I applied it morning and night as soon as I started using it, and I haven’t experienced any dryness, or flakiness that is often associated with very active ingredients. In fact, I have found the opposite: my skin is juicy and plump, and really calm.
This has to be down to Strivectin’s special form of Niacin (NIA-114 Technology). It works to strengthen the skin barrier, and protect against environmental stressors. Also, the ingredients are combined in precise, deliberate quantities that focus on optimum efficacy, rather than just high percentages that can hijack any real progress.
I am excited to keep using this and thoroughly recommend it if you are looking for something really powerful that won’t cause downtime.
