There’s a real trend for natural looking lash products right now, and this is definitely one of them. The Sisley So Stretch Mascara is all about lengthening and defining the lashes – you get a nice bit of separation too. Here’s what you need to know.

They are calling it tinted lash care and it contains a range of skincare and haircare ingredients that can nurture the lashes. I think this is a great mascara for an awake, wide-eyed look.

Review of Sisley So Stretch Mascara
As I have said, this is a lovely natural looking mascara. It is mainly about length with one coat, but if you do decide to layer it up, you can build some volume with very minimal clumping.
The consistency of the formula is really nice. This isn’t a super wet mascara – it comes ready to go, if you know what I mean? I think this is particularly important to note because often mascara with lots of conditioning ingredients can tend to be a bit too wet and hard to apply.
I really like the brush. It has a lovely conical shape that’s easy to get into the lashes and suits the non-clumpy formula. It literally coats and separates and the lashes do not stick together at all.
Also, if you are gentle with application, you can add another coat even when the first layers are dry. So this is handy if you want to enhance volume later on in the day.

Once it is set, it lasts really well and I haven’t noticed any flaking or smudging at all. I did wear it to the park one day, and wind got in my eye (you know what I mean?) and it just wouldn’t stop watering. I had smudging on my lid as a result, but this doesn’t claim to be water-resistant or waterproof, so I think it held up pretty well.
The Sisley So Stretch Mascara formula is pretty easy to remove. I tend to take my makeup off with an oil or balm cleanser, and both these work well. Also the Sisley Eye makeup remover does the trick if you want a separate solution. I am yet to try ones from other brands.
All in all, I am a big fan of this mascara for pretty, natural-looking, really lengthened lashes. It is staying in my makeup bag!
