My Review of Sisley Phyto-Teint Nude

- Super light and comfortable texture
- Hydrating and plumping
- Delivers a natural, skin-like yet perfected finish
- Soft radiant glow with a healthy look
- Blurs pores brilliantly
I have been testing this foundation now for almost three weeks and am really enjoying it. It has a beautiful light texture that blends effortlessly into the skin and give such a natural yet perfected healthy glow.
How does it perform on the eye area?
I love how this formula looks on the eye area because it has the capacity to softly blur out lines and wrinkles without looking cakey.
Is is long-lasting?
Considering that the Sisley Phyto-Teint Nude Foundation doesn’t claim to be long-wearing, it actually performs really well. I find it lasts well on my skin, stays looking smooth and even, keeps my skin hydrated.
Is it suitable for dry skin?
All the technology used in this foundation is focussed on skincare and boosting and locking in hydration. This makes it ideal for drier skin types.
How does Sisley Phyto-Teint Nude Foundation compare to the Cle de Peau Radiant Cream foundation?
The Sisley has a much thinner formula than the Cle de Peau Radiant Cream (review here). In line with this, the coverage is much, much lighter. The Sisley is sheer and light, whereas you can build the Cle de Peau to a proper full coverage finish. I’d say that Sisley’s blurring capacity allows for it to have a lighter, more bare skin feel.
What is the coverage?
The coverage is light and undetectable on the skin, but it is excellent at blurring and smoothing. If you prefer a full coverage foundation, this won’t be for you.
What finish does Sisley Phyto-Teint Nude Foundation provide?
This foundation gives a very skin-like natural finish that really doesn’t look like you’re wearing anything. It is designed to give a subtle satin finish, and I’d say that translates to a very natural-looking glow with lots of blurring.
I haven’t been using a setting powder with it, and I am combination skin. It gets a little bit glowier in the t-zone throughout the day, but I am more than happy with that. You may want to use a setting powder if you are more oily.
Does it oxide?
I haven’t noticed any colour change from application to setting, so I think it’s safe to say that this formula doesn’t oxidise.
Is it oil-free or fragranced.
Yes the Sisley Phyto-Teint Nude Foundation is an oil-free formula.
I can detect a light fragrance in this formula. If you are sensitive to fragrance, you may want to test it out before you buy.
The packaging
I absolutely love the packaging of this foundation. It is so neat and small, yet still contains the standard 30ml of product.

I also love the cut out on the lids. Such a cute feature.
