My Review of Rhode Glazing Milk

Although I am definitely not the target market for Rhode, I really do like this milky toner. I love an extra hydration step and this one really ticks the boxes for a ceramide-packed soothing formula.

It is designed to be used as a first step after cleansing, and layered under the Peptide Glazing Fluid (review here) and the Barrier Restore Cream.

I have tested with my non-Rhode products and it’s a lovely hydrating first step, and my serums and moisturiser layer over nicely. It gives the skin a lovely healthy glossy look and feels very gentle.

The main way I have been using the Rhode Glazing Milk is actually as a first step when I want to refresh my makeup from day to night. If I haven’t had time to start from scratch, I simply press a few drops over my face on top of the makeup that’s already there, before topping up my concealer, bronzer and highlighter.

Did you know that I now have my own makeup-skincare hybrid brand?! Check out the REESON Bronzing Balm and REESON Highlighter Duo. I am VERY proud of both products. You can shop REESON Beauty here (own brand).

Alternative products

If you are looking for an alternative to the Rhode Glazing Milk, you could try the Coats Gentle Hydrating Toning Milk which you can pick up at Amazon*. The Coats one has more of a light gel texture, and is slightly less creamy than the Rhode, so you may prefer it if your skin tends to be oily.

If you’re interested in Coats Skincare, read Coats Skincare Review – Cleanse, Tone, Moisturise.

Kiehl’s also has a milky toner that also includes gentle exfoliators. Read Kiehl’s Daily Refining Milk Peel Toner Review.
