I have to confess, I don’t think I have ever been more keen to get holf of a hand cream than when I heard that the Glossier Hand Cream was launching. I have it here to show you, along with everything you need to know.

So! Hand cream has never really been a product that appeals to me. I have always managed to get by without it. However, in these days of extreme hand washing, what’s left on my fingers after doing my skincare hasn’t really been cutting the mustard. Of course, I have quite a bit of hand cream at home, but obviously I still need the Glossier one!

This is the first time I’ve been excited about a hand cream. And that’s the Glossier Magic!!

What makes Glossier Hand Cream special?

First of all, it’s Glossier and basically I am obsessed. It has that real understated, cool girl vibe – a vibe I don’t naturally possess – but having the products make me feel a little bit cool. And that makes me happy!

I’m told this formula has been two years in the making. Described as ‘supercharged moisture in a palm-sized pod with sleek curves and 360º squeeze’. SOLD! Glossier say this texture is ‘in the sweet spot between a lotion and a crème’.

My Review

I love the smell of the Glossier You fragrance (read my review here). In fact I had forgotten how much I loved it until I pulled it out to compare it to the hand cream scent, and I kind of fell in love with it all over again. It’s like the smell of the best kind of baby skin you could imagine. This hand cream is perfectly scented to make you feel clean, without anything overpowering. Of course! This is Glossier after all!

The texture is really good. It is light, yet luxurious, leaves a youthful glow on the skin, yet sinks in just the right amount and is quick about it. It leaves skin really comfortable and smooth without being sticky or tacky.  And the smell makes you feel all clean and lovely.

And of course, I absolutely love the packaging. It’s like no other hand cream I have seen. I love the rounded corners, the soft-touch texture and that perfect Glossier colour combination. It’s a squeezy bottle that looks like something completely new. One you will definitely want to keep on your desk, or at least have on show during your Zoom meetings!

Even better, the flip top makes one handed application a cinch. And best of all, the body of the packaging is completely recyclable. You just take off the top, rinse and recycle.
