As soon as I saw the Ciate Marbled Metals glitter pot eyeshadows, I couldn’t wait to get into them. They are incredible! There are now two new shades added to the collection. I have swatches of all the shades right here for you.
For Spring 2020, we have two brand new and beautiful shades in this gorgeous formula. There is Serendipity which is a metallic mink, and Eclipse, a rich gold.
I love both these new shades and the formula is as brilliant as the original. I love how easy they are to apply and blend. Simply swipe them on with your fingertip and blend out the edges with a fluffy brush.
Original Shades
It was pretty much instant obsession with these new eyeshadow pots from Ciate. I have said it before, and I’ll say it again – Ciate is such an unsung hero when it comes to makeup, but their products are so good. I love their blushes and highlights, and their recent Extraordinary Foundation launch is really impressive.
If you like high impact eye makeup that doesn’t require a tonne of skill, then you need to check these out.

My Review
So I basically love these! I went straight for the copper shade ‘Gilded’ and swiped it on to my lids. I blended it out at the edges with a fluffy brush just to get a nice fade and that was pretty much all it needed.
One finger dip is pretty much all you need for each eye for a bold application; one light dip between both eyes for a sheerer wash of colour I’d say.
So far, I have had Gilded on my lids for about four hours and it hasn’t creased or lost colour intensity, so I am pretty impressed with that. I didn’t prep my lids or use a primer. I love the shade so much!
I also think I’ll get a lot of wear out of ‘Entwine’ which is the pale gold shade.
I also love the green shade, Twisted, although I’d have to pluck up a bit more courage to wear that. It is stunning, but super bold and I can be a bit of a wimp when it comes to non-neutrals and the eyes.

They look very glittery in the pot but in the swatches and on your eyes, it looked like they are more shimmery. Emma x
