My Review

I have to say, I have been really impressed with this product. It’s easy to apply, sits beautifully under makeup and makes my skin look more even and radiant. It doesn’t feel SPF-y at all, and you can pretty much forget you’re wearing it.
How much is it and when does it launch?
Invisible UV Flawless Poreless Primer is available at Charlotte Tilbury* now the price is £39 for 30ml.
What skin type is it suitable for? Does it work on oily, combination skin? Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
The product has been designed to suit all skin tones. I have combination, dehydrated skin and it sits really nicely on my complexion. I forgot I was wearing it.
It is mineral or chemical sunscreen?
The main SPF ingredients within the formula are Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Ethylhexyl Salicylate, Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane, Octocrylene and Titanium Dioxide.
Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate and Ethylhexyl Salicylate are classified as a chemical UVB-filter. Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane is classified as a chemical UVA filter. Octocrylene is classified as a chemical filter and also helps to stabilise other sunscreen ingredients. Titanium Dioxide is classified as a mineral / physical sunscreen.
Therefore this formula uses a mix of chemical and physical sunscreens, with the chemical sunscreens being nearer the top of the ingredient list.
Does it have fragrance?
The formula is fragrance free and silicone free.

Can it be used as a stand alone SPF?
The formula offers up an SPF 50 mineral sunscreen and broad spectrum UVA and UVB protection, so you can use it as your only sun protection product.
What is the finish like? Does it leave your skin shiny? Does it leave a white caste?
As this is a physical sunscreen, it take a little minute to rub it in, but once that’s done, it’s completely invisible on my skin and leaves a lovely glow.
What is the texture like? How does it feel on the skin? Is it good under makeup?
It has a light creamy texture that feels hydrating and moisturising. It contains glycerin which is one of my favourite humectants. The formula sits really nicely under foundation and I actually think I can use a bit less and still get good coverage.
When to use it?
Charlotte Tilbury Invisible UV Flawless Poreless Primer should be used as the last step in your skincare. So you just need to cleanse, do your serum and moisturiser. Then apply a layer of this before makeup.
Is it good value for money?
This has come up a lot and I think it’s a tricky one. You get 30ml in the tube and the price is £39. In terms of dosing when it comes to SPF, you could get through it pretty quickly.
Having said that, good quality sunscreens are not cheap, and if you compare it to a product like the Sarah Chapman Skin Insurance which also comes in a 30ml for £68, it’s actually pretty affordable.
However, compared to the Ultra Violette range which averages at about £35 for 50ml, it is expensive!
When does it launch in the USA?
I am trying to find out the US launch date for you, so stay tuned!!
Where to buy it
Charlotte Tilbury Invisible UV Flawless Poreless Primer is available now the price is £40 for 30ml.
