Fans of By Terry’s iconic hydrating setting powder will be thrilled to see this new launch. There is now a range of colours! Here’s what you need to know about the By Terry Hyaluronic Tinted Hydra-Powder collection. I have photos and swatches.
So this gorgeous loose setting powder is now available in a tinted version and there is a range of shades to suit every skin tone.
What shades does the By Terry Hyaluronic Tinted Powder come in?
There are eight beautiful shades designed to match different undertones, and I think it’s important to note that you can be creative with these colours. For example, I have been using the darkest shade as a bronzer and it delivers such a stunning result.
- N1 Rosy Light
- N2 Apricot Light
- N100 Fair
- N200 Natural
- N300 Medium Fair
- N400 Medium
- N500 Medium Dark
- N600 Dark
By Terry Hyaluronic Tinted Powder Swatches
N1 Rosy Light, N2 Apricot Light:
N100 Fair, N200 Natural, N300 Medium Fair:
N400 Medium, N500 Medium Dark, N600 Dark:
Please note, if you see any shimmer in these swatches, that’s from a palette I was working on, not the powders!
They look so gorgeous don’t they? Rosy Light and Apricot Light have the most luminous finish and I think would be fairly flexible across a few skintones. The rest of the shades are designed to match foundation, but as I said, you can also use them to contour and shape, and they are also amazing on lids!! As you can imagine, the Hyaluronic Acid infused formula is amazing for smoothing any crepiness on the eyelids, so make sure you try using it this way.
I am obsessed with N600 Dark. I have been using it to warm up my complexion whilst perfecting it at the same time. It’s perfect for powder-phobes like me, because rather than overly mattifying or drying the skin, it fills in lines, wrinkles and pores and makes everything look hydrated and super smooth.
The Formula
So the new tinted powders have all the benefits of the original powder. Just in case you aren’t familiar with this powder, I thought I’d recap for you.
- Infused with skincare benefits of hyaluronic acid
- Helps to maintain optimum moisture levels
- Antioxidant action strengthens the skin’s protective barrier.
- Instantly blurs minor imperfections
- Minimises the look of pores
- Even out skin tone
- Fills in fine lines
- Control shine
In addition to this, the new By Terry Hyaluronic Tinted Hydra-Powder features hydrophobic premium pigments that are water resistant. The colour pigments are able to optimise powder adhesion on the skin and allows for flawless colour-matching.
The new powders are available now for £42 via the following links:

Great review! My complexion is similar to yours. What color would you recommend the Apricot or Natural to set foundation?
thank you! I think natural xx
Thanks for an excellent review. I want one of these but am not sure about the color. I have fair skin but the FAIR shade looks a bit yellow. Does the Rosy Light looks noticeably pink on the skin? Is it chalky? It doesn’t in your swatch. Am I right to assume that Natural suits most. Fair/med skin tones? I don’t have any store near me that sells By Terry so I can’t go to a counter to try them. And at $76 CDN I want to gather all the info I can before I make a purchase. Thanks.
Thank you for your review and swatches! I couldn’t find any information as to the new colors. Your swatches helped me to see what color would work for my skin tone. I’ll be picking up the dark as well for an all-over powder. Thanks again
my pleasure! xx
In the second swatch (Fair, Natural, Medium Fair) the order is not correct: N100 Fair should be the first (N200 Natural, as seen in the image of the back pack has a pink undertone, not golden).
I apologize for the intrusion, but I thought it might be useful 🙂
