Allies of Skin Molecular Silk Amino Hydrating Cleanser – Key Ingredients

So this cleanser has a lot going on and it promises quite a bit more than just clean skin!

Hyaluronic Acid

The formula uses low molecular weight Hyaluronic Acid to draw moisture to the skin, keep it hydrated and maintain healthy cell function.

Silk Amino Acids

These are potent antioxidants that nourish skin and enhance moisture absorption for increased suppleness.

Organic Safflower Oil

This is another antioxidant that works to break down makeup, dirt and pollution, whilst hydrating the skin.

Organic Moringa Oil

Moringa Oil is very rich in phytonutrients and is great at repairing compromised skin and counteracting the effects of pollution on the skin.

Ethylated L-Ascorbic Acid

This is a stable form  of Vitamin C which encourages collagen production, neutralises complexion-dulling sebum and brightens dull skin.

Lecithin Phospholipids

These are a source of essential fatty acids which keep skin supple by forming a protective film on the surface to seal in essential moisture.

White Tea

White Teas provides antioxidant protection whilst brightening and hydrating.

Lactic Acid

Lactic Acid is one of the most gentle AHA and it exfoliates, brightens and hydrates the skin.

Allies of Skin Molecular Silk Amino Hydrating Cleanser Review

I love a hardworking cleanser and this is definitely one of those! The texture is my kind of texture, with a lovely, light, oily slip that glides all over the skin and feels soft, silky and gorgeous.

Applied on to dry skin, it gently lifts away makeup and impurities, and emulsifies with a splash of water to rinse cleanly away. You can also use it on damp skin for a lighter, daily cleanse. It can be left on the skin for an extra minute or two to allow the lactic acid to vitamin c to exfoliate and brighten up the skin.

It leaves my skin feeling super clean and silky soft, with no feeling of tightness. It’s a win for me. I love it.

If you are looking for a thicker oil-gel cleanser for hardcore makeup removal, that’s also suitable for sensitive skins, I’d also recommend the Jordan Samuel Skin The Aftershow Treatment Cleanser Sensitive Skin.
