You know that I love YSL makeup, so you’ll understand how excited I am about the trying out their brand new BB Cream – YSL Top Secrets All in One BB Creme.

I have been playing with it for a couple of days and I like it!! What I have here for you is a swatch pic, before, after, and half and half photos. I have also put it to the test as a primer for foundation for extra coverage. Here we go!
Here is the swatch – I have blended it out the edge so you can see how that looks. The YSL BB Creme I am testing is shade Medium.

So for the purposes of comparison, and because I have no shame, here is me with no makeup. This is just cleansed and moisturised skin.

As you can see, it evens out the redness in my skin well and also does quite a good job of covering the blemishes on my chin.

On Friday, I wore this as my only base with a little cream blush and it was lovely for the natural no makeup daytime look.
The other aspect of this BB Cream is as a primer for foundation – for an even more perfect, yet still natural looking finish.
Of course I chose one of my faves and the natural compliment for the YSL BB Cream, the YSL Teint Touche Eclat in BD40.

I needed hardly any foundation and it certainly delivered a fairly flawless finish. For the full picture, here it is with a touch of creme blush, mascara and some lip gloss.

It is super glowy and dewy – just how I like things! FYI – the blush is the brand new creme blush from Bourjois shade 02, the mascara is Illamasqua and the lip gloss is the Clarins Lip Perfector – HERE.
So here is what you need to know about the YSL Top Secrets All in One BB Creme:
- Soft focus, light-reflecting nacres to soften imperfections, brighten dull skin, and add radiance
- UV filters – Protects agiant UVA and UVB, has SPF25
- Hydrating skin-radiance complex – Japanese lily of the valley bush extract for hydration, Vitamin C to brighten and Rose de Mai to soften
- 3 Shades – Light, Medium (shown here) and Dark
I am a fan! Phewph! I’d be so sad if I didn’t like something from YSL!
YSL Top Secrets All in One BB Creme is Exclusively available in all John Lewis Stores from 17th April 2013 and Nationwide from 1st May 2013. It will cost £38.
