YSL have just launched a brand new range of CC Creams with 3 variants, Rose, Lavender and Apricot. I have been having a quick play with all 3 – here’s the low down.

Just from my experience with swatching the product I decided to try Apricot on my face. This is the one that promises to give a healthy glow whilst correcting uneven skin tone:

I love Apricot. I think I’d use it under a touch of foundation just to finish the look. I think it will be great for Summer. I need to experiment more with the other shades but from the first try I’d say that Lavender (for sallow skin) is very lavender coloured and a tad hard to blend. I think I had far too much in my swatch! The Rose variant is suggested for dull, tired-looking skin.
Here’s what you need to know about the YSL CC Cream Forever Light Creator:
- Contains 3 glycans to smooth the skin’s texture, help limit the formation of pigmentation spots & to act on the skin’s density
- Regulates imperfections (spots, pores) and unifies the complexion, minimses pores
- 24h hydration
- SPF 35
- Colour cancelling pigments
- Long term complexion improvements
I am going to keep playing with these and see how I go.
The YSL CC Cream Forever Light Creator costs £30 each. Find it at Selfridges and Debenhams. Debenhams have 10% off online right now.
