Wayne Goss Makeup Brush Collection Review
There has been huge hype about the launch of makeup artist Wayne Goss’s makeup brush range – so much so that it sold out on pre-order alone! The good news is that they really do live up to the hype. The bad news is…I think they have sold out again!
Now I am not great with brushes because I always get a little confused about which one I should be using where, but there are none of those issues here! Wayne has made a video to go with each brush that tells you exactly how, and all the different ways you can use it (he is all about multi-tasking) and if you watch them, you’ll probably pick up quite a few general makeup tips too. I did!
Brush No 1 from the Wayne Goss collection is the foundation (and other liquid/cream stuff) brush! Love it!

It gave me the smoothest and most flawless application of liquid foundation and is absolutely incredible for minimising pores! This will do cream blush and highlighter too. Fabulous!

I think the Wayne Goss Brush No 2 is possibly my favourite. It is amazing and I actually did a really good job of contouring using this, for the first time ever! You can use it for contour, bronzer, blusher, highlighter and powder. Like I said – the range is all about multi-use. The tapered end makes it so good for precise contouring and then under light pressure it splays to blend and buff. Love. Definitely my favourite.

These 3 little beauties are the Wayne Goss 3, 5 and 7. I think they made the perfect set for everything you need for eye makeup application. I literally would never need anything else I don’t think.

No 3 is the large crease brush and perfect for putting colour over the lip and the best blending (can also be used for highlighting, contouring and powdering). Beautiful brush.
No 5 is the best little crease brush ever. Absolutely perfect if you want to define your eyes and also great for blending out harsh lines for a smoky effect (it can also be used for contouring and highlighting – fab for the inner corner of the eye).
No 7 is first and foremost a lip brush, but I used it to line the eye – it is apparently also good for brows, concealing and micro-highlighting.
Basically, I love these brushes. They have made me more excited about makeup than I am already. And that is really saying something! If you are thinking of buying, take a look at the collection and watch each video to see what you need.
The Wayne Goss Makeup Brush Collection starts at £13 and goes up to £30. You can get the whole kit for £140. Although you probably do not need them all, an edit of them will make a wise investment I think. They are out now at Love Makeup. The only snag is, you’re going to have to wait for them to come back into stock.
