Wax On Wax Off Perfection!

I had an excellent, excellent half leg wax at Strip the other week that I thought I should share with you.

I have had my legs waxed a fair few times in the past but most recently I have been shaving them so I was expecting this to be a bit of a painful experience.

Don’t get me wrong – pain for beauty does not bother me in the slightest – that is how vain I am!! It isn’t that I don’t feel the pain, it’s just that it matters less because I am so focussed on the end result. Bit nuts yes…

However, this really was much less painful than I predicted. It was actually an incredibly luxurious experience in a beautiful room, with beautifully aromatic wax and even a DVD playing. The best possible environment for hair removal!

After a usual wax my skin can feel sensitised and I’m super aware that I’ve had it done. But not with Strip! It wasn’t until I was getting undressed that night and felt my smooth legs that I remembered. And there weren’t any little fluffy sticky patches that often serve as a reminder!

I had a couple of little hairs, but that’s because I have been shaving. The therapist told me a couple more sessions would sort that so that all the hairs joined the same growth cycle.

Fabbie! I have done a couple of gentle scrubs and there’s not a single ingrown hair in sight. I am really very pleased.
