Here’s a look at the full original Victoria Beckham Beauty collection when it launched back in 2019. I have photos and swatches of all the original Smoky Eye Brick shades, the Lid Lustre pots and the Satin Kajal Liners.

Before I get into the swatching, I just wanted to share my excitement around the opportunity to attend the launch event and chat to Victoria and Sarah Creal (the brand’s co-founder), about the collection. It was a bit of a dream come true for me.

I have followed Victoria’s beauty journey since I first discovered her courtesy of the Spice girls and she unkowingly introduced me to many of my beauty staples via a glossy mag. They include Elizabeth Arden’s 8 Hour Cream (as a dewy highlighter) and the iconic MAC Spice Lip Liner. If she was wearing it, I wanted it.

This own brand collection is no disappointment and it was so amazing to see the founders Victoria and Sarah chatting about their adventures putting this brand together, and turning their visions into real live products.
This is a Clean Beauty brand, which was important to them both, but performance has not been compromised.
The story starts with Eye, but we will be moving on pretty swiftly to lips and then SKIN!!!! Victoria hinted that skin was even more exciting. Let me tell you, I am here for that!!

It looks a great collection. Looking forward to seeing your swatches.

None of this looks very impressive to me, some of those powder shadows (particularly the blues) look quite patchy and chalky and the finishing of the individual colours in the pans looks sloppy and lacking in precision. I’d expect a perfect, crisp edge to each colour where it meets the next. The eyeliners look nice, but it’s easy to find decent eyeliners at every price point. It looks to me like more attention has been paid to the packaging than the actual products.
