Vampire Facial Day 2 Update

Well I just thought I do a quick ‘morning after the night before’ post on the Vampire Facial. Although everything was looking pretty good last night, I had no idea what the state of play would be today, especially considering I had about 100 injections pretty much all over my face!
I gently cleansed my face with micellar water (Gastineaux) and applied the 111Skin Y Theorem Serum (total magic) and went to bed.
This is what I looked like this morning:

Vampire Facial After Photo
My skin is redder than usual around my chin, my cheeks are a little puffy and I have light bruising below the eye area but my little boy still has noticed that I’ve had anything done!! I am really impressed with how gently Dr Yannis Alexandrides has carried the Vampire Facial.
In terms of what it feels like, I can’t feel any pain in my face as such, although if I touch my face it is definitely more tender than usual and feels a little bruised – I shan’t be using my Clarisonic on it, that’s for sure. But to be fair, it couldn’t even be described as uncomfortable or sore, just different!
I shall have a proper review for you once I start to see actual results. Read my first post HERE to get all the info and see photos from just after the Vampire Facial.

  • Looks like your skin is still settling and repairing, I bet it will look totes amazeballs after it’s settled down, I would be scared to have a few injections in my face never mind about 100!, Good on ya x

  • So, do you think the vampire facial was worth it? What changes did you see in your skin and how long did the results last?

    • Hi there

I really loved the results of the PRP – it really improved the texture of my skin, I think my pores were less visible and my skin seemed firmer. It was also really clear and radiant – especially after about 4-6 weeks post treatment.

I have to say that I don’t really notice this now though – either I am just used to the improvement or I need another treatment. Apparently it is something that requires repeat treatments so if you are looking for a one off fix, this probably isn’t it.

I think they recommend 3 treatments a year and then annually to mainain – although I am not entirely sure.

I do think it is a great treatment though, but like pretty much everything, the results aren’t permanent.

      I hope that helps.
