Get ready for a bit of a gush because I have been testing out the new Urban Decay Naked Skin One and Done Hybrid Complexion Perfector and it was literally love at first wear. It is so skin transforming, feels great and also offers skin benefits over time. Here are the details with swatches and before and after photos.

First up, I really like the packaging. The ombre blend of gunmetal and champagne looks great and the product is dispensed via an airless pump which means you will be able to get all of it out. I find this exciting because I think I am going to want to use all of it!

Urban Decay Naked Skin One and Done Features

  • Multi-tasking tinted cream
  • Skin treatment benefits
  • Coverage of a sheer foundation
  • SPF20 protection
  • Blurs imperfections with light diffusing spheres
  • Weightless formula
  • Oil-free with peptides, vitamins and moisturisers
  • Gatuline Radiance improves luminosity, texture and tone
  • 6 flexible shades cover a wide range of skin tones

Now if the idea of ‘sheer’ coverage puts you off, don’t let it! I am not one for sheer, and much prefer a medium to full coverage base, however, the way the pigmentation in One and Done works with it’s light diffusing technology means that it is incredibly skin perfecting without the need for full coverage. Excellent.

Urban Decay Naked Skin One and Done Swatches

I have two of the six shades to show you – Light and Medium.

There is a shade that sits between these two – Medium Light – and then’s there’s also Medium Dark, Dark and Deep. Urban Decay suggest that this should cover off pretty much all skin tones.

Urban Decay Naked Skin One and Done Before & After

I applied this over a light layer of moisturiser, with no primer, using my fingers.

As you can see, you can still see my skin through it, but it looks much more flawless and perfected. And I just love it on my pores! Look! They are barely in sight! I have rather enlarged pores so I think this is brilliant.

I was going to put more makeup on, but I was so happy with my skin with just this that I left it like this all day. It lasted really well, and my skin stayed looking pretty flawless all day, with just a tiny bit of wear around my nose by late evening. Excellent. I think I may have found a new fave. Exciting!

Urban Decay Naked Skin One and Done is £25 for a whole 40ml which I think is good value. It is available to order online HERE in the UK, and HERE in the US.

  1. I really want to try this! Do you think that medium would be ok for a NC25/30 skin tone. We do not have an Urban Decay counter in Holland so it is not easy to test it in store for me/us Dutchies

    1. It’s hard to say – maybe Medium Light? I always think it’s better to go lighter than darker because you can always bronze up?

  2. This looks like a great product. It seems like more and more brands are shying away from calling any tinted face products BB or CC creams which I am glad of. Your site update looks good and I like that you have star ratings now.

    1. Yes I was thinking that earlier. Perhaps they have realised that all the BB, CC stuff is a little confusing and all we actually want is for our skin to look better!

Thanks so much for the feedback. That’s great to hear. Stay in touch! Ree xxx

  3. Hi Ree, how do you think this compares to the La Roche Posay Effaclar BB Blur? They sound like they do the same thing and I get that the LRP is aimed at oilier skins. It’s a lot cheaper too. Wondered if you had tried both.
Thank you for replying to my e mail btw, I really appreciate you taking the time for that.

    1. No problem! Ah it was you – yes it was a lovely email. Thank you.

Erm – I don’t think I have gotten around to trying the LRP one yet. I have it somewhere. I should try and dig it out. I generally really like their stuff. They d a lovely CC cream xxx
