I’m a huge fan of the original Naked Basics palette – check it out HERE with eye looks HERE. The new palette, Urban Decay Naked 2 Basics is described as cooler in tone than the original, and has been designed to complement the Naked 2 palette. There are 6 ‘taupe-hued’ matte neutrals, and 5 of the 6 shades are brand new, all designed to suit a range of skin tones.

The Naked2 Basics features the Urban Decay Pigment Infusion System, which makes the shades smooth, velvety and easily blendable. It promises to be as rich and buttery as the original. Very exciting!

And in case you’re unsure of how it differs, I have put the 2 palette shades together.

The Urban Decay Naked 2 Basics palette is online now on the US site now for $29. It says out of stock but I am pretty sure that means stock is coming soon. I have no news right now when it will arrive in the UK but we are usually a few weeks behind.

What do you think?

  • Love the look of this! I never ended up getting the first because it seemed like there were too many fleshy toned shades but this second one seems to have the balance right – plus the Naked 2 palette is my fave so it’ll go perfectly with it 🙂 xx

  • Funny, I had just reviewed the original Naked2 palette yesterday, and now I see this. It looks great, doesn’t it? Hopefully we get it soon.

  • I use my naked basics every single day without fail. I oddly, like to make myself look super tired and a bit spooky and the taupe is amazing for that, so this, this is PERFECTION. I want it now now now!!!!

  • I need this. Naked 2 is my favorite and these cooler shades seem to go perfectly. I will be stalking the Sephora website for the launch date on this one!
