At the beginning of the month I wrote a rather enthusiastic post about the shade extension of the gorgeous Moondust shadows from UD. Well today I have a couple of the new shades to show and they are pretty beautiful! Check out my Urban Decay Moondust Swatches.

So the new shades in the collection are Ether, Scorpio, Solstice  and Cosmic. Take a look at my original post HERE to see the full line up.

As I have said before, this is one of my favourite eyeshadow formulas if I want to go for glitz and you really couldn’t ask for more from a shimmer. It’s actually also very lovely for daytime so keep reading to see that.

I find them smoothing and flattering and I particularly love them because you can go for a sheer glimmer, or pack it on for full-on dazzle.

So here I have Cosmic and Solstice which I have to say were the favourites I chose when I saw the new line up. Either that was a complete fluke with the samples, or someone at Urban Decay is paying attention! I have had another fluke with my Sheer Revolution lipsticks too, so keep an eye out for that swatch post!

This is a medium swatch and by that I mean, you can go a lot lighter and also a lot heavier. I was careful not to layer it up too much for fear of scaring off the glitter phobes – I think even they should give these shadows a try.

A touch of Cosmic pushed into the inner corner and a sheer wash of Solstice over the lids on top of a nude shadow or primer is the perfect day look with a difference. It makes my eyes look really wide awake and my lids look healthily lustrous.

The best part is that I can use my fingers to apply it so it is all done really quickly and easily. And it’s not gaudy, it’s just pretty.

The Urban Decay Moondust Eyeshadow new shades Ether, Scorpio, Solstice and Cosmic are £20 and available at these links below:
