When I heard Urban Decay say ‘STROBE IT OUT’ I nearly had a heart-attack with excitement. UD are just one of those brands that always seem to get everything right, and when highlighter is on the menu, my expectations just soar! I have been testing out all the shades of the new Urban Decay Afterglow 8 Hour Highlighter and enjoying every moment.

There are three shades in the range – Sin, Fireball and Aura – and I have all the swatches coming up for you.

I love them all. I think Sin is the most shimmery and most champagne-y which makes me love it for the wow factor. I think it is my favourite, but I am just loving a pinky highlight – Aura – since I discovered Devotion from Laura Mercier and this one is way more affordable. Fireball is the least shimmery of the three and I actually think this makes the prettiest glowy blush on my skin tone. This means Fireball is perfect for a quick all-in-one look if I didn’t have time to go through my whole routine.
I love the packaging which is perfectly portable and for a product that lives within the higher end of the makeup market, I think they are pretty good value for money at £19 or $26. They also are really long lasting on the skin. Thumbs up.
