I have to say, I love a bit of Trilogy, so I was delighted to be invited along to a wonderful intimate dinner at Soho House to discover the latest from the brand – a brand new range for sensitive skin, Trilogy Sensitive. I think it will be a big hit! 
There are three new products -Trilogy Very Gentle Cleansing Cream, Trilogy Very Gentle Calming Serum and Trilogy Very Gentle Moisturising Cream.

Trilogy Sensitive – New Range from Trilogy for Sensitive Skin
I have had a try of the products and I am impressed already. The cleanser is gorgeously creaming and lifts off makeup and impurities quickly and easily. It is so gentle that you can use it on the eyes and I have been told that it makes quick work of waterproof mascara even, although I haven’t tested that out yet.

Trilogy Very Gentle Cleansing Cream for Sensitive Skin
It seems this range is just what we need, as research has indicated that more than 50% of women worldwide described their skin type as sensitive.
My skin goes through phases so I think I’ll be visiting this collection whenever I’m feeling a little vulnerable! 
At the core of the range is an ingredient called SyriCalm which is a breakthrough botanical complex developed in Germany. It has 2 naturally occurring ingredients which are proven to reduce inflammation (associated with ageing) and strengthen the skin’s barrier function.
The hero product of the range, and the one it looks like everyone needs in their kit, is the Trilogy Very Gentle Calming Serum.

Trilogy Very Gentle Calming Serum for Sensitive Skin
This is being hailed as the SOS product, perfect to soothe and rescue fragile and irritated skin. I can see this coming on holidays with me to use on heat rash, bites and any discomfort – but not sunburn as I would never let that happen! Apparently it is so gentle, it can be used on children, so I am going to try it on my son’s eczema on his arms.
I applied it to my face today and it is light soothing and disappears into the skin.
The Trilogy Very Gentle Moisturising Cream is also super light and has a gel cream consistency.

Trilogy Very Gentle Moisturising Cream for Sensitive Skin
It sits perfectly on top of the serum and sinks in beautifully leaving a lovely matte finish. I haven’t applied makeup today but I imagine it would make a great base.
The great thing about this range is that it is really gentle with no compromise on quality – so not only will it soothe and calm sensitive skin, but it is made to deliver anti-ageing benefits too.
The Trilogy Sensitive Range (which is certified natural) will be available from April 2013, with the Trilogy Very Gentle Cleansing Cream at £22.50 for 150ml, the Trilogy Very Gentle Calming Serum at £28.50 for 30ml and the Trilogy Very Gentle Moisturising Cream at £24.50 for 50ml.
