Well it was always going to be Tom Ford that creates a brand new twist with lipstick. I am absolutely loving this cheeky take on lip loving – Tom Ford Lips & Boys!

When I first read that line, my mind boggled, but it soon all made sense when I learned that Tom Ford has created an impressive 50 shade collection of limited edition clutch-sized lip colours. They are small, perfectly formed Tom Ford lipsticks – everything about them is the same down to formula and unbeatable packaging – they are just mini and cute.

And so where do the boys come in? Well this is the really fun part! Every lipstick shade in the Lips & Boys collection is named after a chap that inspired Tom Ford, the man himself. I have never had a lipstick named after a man before and never realised that I wanted one…until now of course! What a genius idea!

Apparently the range includes friends, actors, editors, artists and collaborators – all the people that have either entertained, interested or inspired TF. I genuinely cannot wait to see the full list! Word has it that Colin (Firth) and Richard (Buckley) are in there.

I can’t tell you how amused I’d be if someone asked what lipstick I was wearing and I replied ‘Colin’! It would definitely be a first. And what if I had a mix of men on my lips? Would that make me a hussy? I hope so!!

Anyway, I’ll be able to show you some more images next week but what you need to know is that Tom Ford Lips & Boys is a special Cyber Monday collection for 1 day only (apparently we are on that now!) and it is exclusive to Selfridges. You can sign up for an alert here.

And if Cyber Monday isn’t your thing, or you miss out, then apparently the collection will be available again from 26th December 2014. I’ll update asap. The Tom Ford Lips & Boys lipsticks are about half the size of the standard ones I think (as if you could ever call anything TF standard!!) and cost £27.
