Some rather exciting newness arrived from Tom Ford yesterday and it pressed all my buttons! The brand new Tom Ford Black Orchid Nightbloom Powder is a little sneak peek into what’s in store from the Tom Ford Fall 2016 collection which celebrates the brand’s iconic Black Orchid Fragrance.
Tom Ford himself says, “My customer is not a wildflower. She’s an urban flower, she’s a hothouse flower, she is an orchid.” Oh Tom, I love you! I’m an orchid!!
So! First things first, the packaging on the Black Orchid Nightbloom Powder is divine! It replicates the bevelled glass packaging on the black orchid fragrance bottles.
I have to say, that is the fragrance that gets me compliments every times I wear it. Also Velvet Orchid – that one is a winner too!
The beautiful compact contains a highlighting powder and of course, with my completely and utterly consuming highlighter obsession, this pleases me even more! It’s a bright, yellow-toned gold highlighter with soft sparkles. I think I am going to get a lot of use out of this!

And here it is – it has high impact shimmer. I will dazzle!
I don’t have loads of info about the Tom Ford Fall 2016 collection, as this is a real sneak peek, but I do know that the Tom Ford Black Orchid Nightbloom Powder will launch from August 2016 HERE. The price is yet to be confirmed. Stay tuned because as soon as I have more news I will be straight back to deliver it to you!

Oh my god. I need this.
The orchid fragrances, and Tom Ford fragrances in general, are my favourite perfumes. Like you, I get compliments every time I wear it.
It looks beautiful. Need need need!! 🙂
Just like a man to reduce women to being like flowers. I am no delicate fussy flower that has to sit in a hothouse to survive. If anything I am more of an oak tree, so I guess Tom Ford doesn’t make makeup for me.
I hope Black Orchid lipstick comes back, the one that got away.
ah yes – so gorgeous. We’ll find out soon!!
have you guys since the price tag on this bad boy 120 pounds for 15 ml :O
