Ooh it has been a while since I got my hands on a brand new eyeshadow palette from Tom Ford so I was delighted to review this! Check out the Tom Ford Arabesque Eye Color Quad – it’s a beauty to look at.
What is the Tom Ford Arabesque Eye Color Quad?
Now to start off, this is a permanent addition to the TF colour collection, and there are four other quads, Noir Fume, De La Creme, Mink Mirage and Sous la Sable.
I am a fan of the formulation of Tom Ford shadows. I usually normally favour the ‘baked’ finish that’s used in quads like Honeymoon and Nude Dip. However, this uses the classic format.

The satin shades (top left and bottom right) are smooth and blendable that they feel like creams. They are easy to blend and I found they resist creasing even without primer. This palette also contains two sparkle shades in the most stunning jewel tones. These are the shades that apply better with fingertips. You have to work a bit harder to build these up, but they do give the most stunning and long lasting glimmer. It doesn’t fall, and it doesn’t turn you into a glitter ball.

I tested this palette during the day time, when I am less conscious of looking after my eye look! Regardless, it stayed in place and still looked flawless in the evening. Yay!

These are my kind of shades, and as I have already stressed, the formula is really good.

I wore it for day time, and then layered up with the same shades for evening, and it was really easy to top up and build. Excellent.
The TF quads are pricey, but this one is gorgeous and really a bit of an investment piece if these are your kind of shades. Don’t kill me for being an enabler!!
