When winter rolls around, I always find myself reaching for more moisturising skincare so why not moisturising haircare too? I have been neglecting my hair so far this winter but thankfully Tigi have come to the rescue of my dry, dull locks. I’ve tried a couple of haircare ranges from Tigi, most recently their Resurrection twin pack which I loved, so I knew I’d probably love the Tigi Oatmeal & Honey range too. Let’s just mention the packaging briefly, I love the design, it’s so unique and eye catching as well as being practical.

Catwalk by Tigi Oatmeal & Honey Shampoo (300ml)

The Tigi Oatmeal and Honey range is designed for dry and damaged hair; it’s colour safe too. The range contains acacia honey, wheat protein and vitamin E to help smooth, replenish and soften the hair with ingredients to repair and nourish.

I don’t know whether it’s word association but to me this range smells like creamy, sweet porridge…albeit with a hair product scent too. All three products have such a pleasant and warming scent that I love! The shampoo lathers really well, although it does contain sodium laureate sulphate so it’s not surprising that it lathers well. It rinses out easily, leaving my hair feeling clean but not stripped of moisture or tangled.

Catwalk by Tigi Oatmeal & Honey Conditioner (250ml)

Shampoos, for me, are interchangeable and fairly average on the whole. Conditioners are the products I love to test out and the products that I usually get the best results with as my hair is so dry and it needs all of the help it can. The conditioner has the same scent and lovely ingredients as the shampoo; it has a thick consistency that feels nourishing and detangling when applied.

Unlike a couple of conditioners I’ve tried recently, it leaves my hair feeling very smooth, soft, moisturised and completely tangle free, which is a miracle with my hair! I’m very impressed with the conditioner so far and according to the bottle, the benefits of the products accumulate with repeated usage.

Catwalk By Tigi Oatmeal & Honey Intense Nourishing Mask (200g)

Last but by no means least, my favourite product of the three! I apply hair masks once a week to my dry hair and I leave them on for a few hours to work. However, with this one I followed the directions which suggest applying the mask to clean, wet hair and leave on for 3 to 5 minutes which I did. The mask is almost just a thick and more intensive version of the conditioner and it leaves my hair even softer and smoother than the conditioner as well as feeling nourishing and detangled.

Overall, I knew I’d like this range as it’s designed for my hair type and I have loved all of the Tigi haircare I’ve tried over the past few years. This range is probably my favourite so far as it leaves my hair feeling smooth, soft and moisturised which is definitely what my dry and colour treated hair needs over the cold winter months!
