So straight away I loved the shade range. Matt Kumar was an instant win for me and I just know that one will be spending a lot of time on my lids. All the shades are super wearable and the formulation is very good indeed. Each shadow is soft, velvety and extremely blendable. The perfect matte!

theBalm Meet Matte Trimony Eyeshadow Palette Swatches
I love the way each little guy is called Matt but with a different last name. It is very theBalm – a character they have carved out and really owned.
Matt Lin, Matt Thomas, Matt Rossi:

Matt Lopez, Matt Kumar, Matt Moskowitz:

Matt Evans, Matt Reed, Matt Ahmed:

You will probably notice that each shade is intensely pigmented. They are all buttery in feel and were such a joy to swatch.
I love the way these shadows blend on my eyes. They are so easy to use – even for an eyeshadow learner like me, and they give such a skin flattering, smoothing finish. I find that some matte shadows can be a little powdery or crepey, but these give the lids a really flawless and velvety finish. Love them!
theBalm Meet Matte Trimony Eyeshadow Palette has just launched and is available to order online HERE and HERE in the UK for £37.50.

This is such a lovely palette, I am surprised but intrigued by the red shade. I wouldn’t have put that in the palette if I was designing it myself as it looks a little out of place, but red is a signature wedding colour for many Asian colours so I kind of love it. Plus, it looks beautiful on your eyes.
