My Review
This is a cream cleanser with a gel-cream texture that’s nice and hydrating. It doesn’t strip my skin at all. It’s very basic in that there’s no scent, so will be excellent for any one sensitive to fragrance.
The texture has a nice luxurious gel-cream feel and as you massage it over the skin, the becomes more creamy in consistency as it cleanses away dirt and impurities from the skin.
It rinses away easily and you can use just water, or a damp cloth if you prefer a little bit more of an exfoliation.
I enjoy using a cream cleanser in the morning and this one is lovely and gentle and is perfect for a really quick cleanse as it rinses away nicely. I have also tested it for makeup removal and find it’s really effective for this, although it did struggle on heavier long-wear mascara.
I generally like to use a balm or oil cleanser for the job of heavy eye makeup removal and think that The Ordinary’s Squalane Cleanser is excellent for this. Read my review here.
All in all, it’s a great product and actually reminds me of the very differently priced Augustinus Bader The Cleansing Gel which I also really love.
Does it contain fragrance?
The Ordinary Glycolipid Cream Cleanser is fragrance free.
What size is it?
The tube is 150ml.

Does The Ordinary Glycolipid Cream Cleanser remove eye makeup?
This is great for light eye makeup but I have found that it can struggle with waterproof formulas.

The Ordinary Glycolipid Cream Cleanser is the the fifth product to launch so far in 2023, and joins the brand’s two existing cleansers.
The Ordinary Squalane Cleanser is a fan favourite and brilliant if you love an oil-based cleansing product. Ready my review here.
The other cleanser is a foaming one, The Ordinary Glucoside Foaming Cleanser*, which I also really enjoy and it’s another new product for the brand’s 2023 portfolio. I like to keep this one in my shower. Have a read of my review here.
With the launch of the new The Ordinary Glycolipid Cream Cleanser, it means that the brand now has an oil-balm cleanser, a face wash and a cream cleanser to choose from. Fab!
