I love a bit of Tarte, and the Tarte Tartelette Amazonian Clay Matte Palette is a matte lovers paradise.

There are 12 gorgeous matte shades which are all pretty neutral and every one is brand new!! The formula is Tarte’s brilliant long-wearing amazonian clay infused shadows which are easy to apply and easy to blend. And the shades are so beautiful!!

So after I took my pics and did my swatches I realised that my camera hadn’t quite captured the shades in the palette as well as I would have liked. So I took this shot again after swatching. This one is more true to life but not quite as pretty as it is post swatch sesh!

• Dreamer – dark warm brown
• Multi-tasker – dark chocolate brown

• Caregiver – pale creamy pink
• Natural Beauty – pinky cocoa brown
• Best Friend – medium purply brown
• Bombshell – deep blackened purple

• Super Mom – ivory
• Wanderer – light to medium brown
• Power Player – warm brown
• Fashionista – deep black

These are all very light swatches with a light touch. The shades can also be used wet for increased intensity.

It’s literally matte perfection. All the shades are smooth and silky with easy blending and great colour pay off. Tarte’s eyeshadow formula is really long wearing so it’s great for anyone with oily lids that struggles to keep their eye makeup in place.

I love the Tarte Tartelette packaging. It is a super sleek case that would be really easy to travel with. It is a solid, shiny case which I like – much more preferable to the regular cardboard packaging which is really pretty still, but I like this much better.

It previewed exclusively for one day in the states last month but now we are all going to have to wait until it launches early next year as part of Tarte’s Sping Summer 2015 collection at QVC. I also have some lovely products from the QVC Tarte Christmas collection to show you which are available now, so stay tuned for that!
