I am a big fan of Tarte Cosmetics and their Lights Camera Lashes but it has been ages since I tried a new mascara from them. Now is the time because we have the brand new Tarte Maneater Mascara coming and it is very exciting. Aside from the leopard print design, it promises mega volume and a whole lot more. Here are the details along with before and after photos to show you how I got on.
Tarte Maneater Mascara Features
- Slick, triple-black mascara
- Delivers 23x increase in lash volume in two coats
- Soft bristle, flexible brush
- Creates curvaceous, fanned out lashes
- Formula is infused with jojoba
- Conditions, strengthens and protects lashes
It’s a fat brush with super short bristles and it has a great flexibility for really easy application. It’s a glossy, luscious formula that glides over the lashes and gives a super dark look.

LOVE this! Not only does it seriously enlarge the lashes but it gives them the most incredible curl too. My lashes look as though I have used a lash curler, which I haven’t because I am terrified of them. The first coat is impressive, but it all happens in the second coat – the volume, the length, the curl – it all just magnifies.
And whilst it looks really dramatic, it feels really light on the lashes and they remain flexible and not the least bit crispy. Excellent! Instant obsession. I love Maneater lashes!!
The Tarte Maneater Mascara worldwide launch is 5th August 2016 at 9pm on QVC. Check out my lashes over on snapchat now!
