My Review

I love the texture of the Summer Fridays Summer Silk Nourishing Body Lotion. It has a light-feeling gel texture in a nice rich emulsion. It feels really hydrating on the skin as soon as it’s applied.

It has a nice velvety finish which makes it feel like it sinks in quickly and doesn’t leave a tacky feel. I love this for the sensorial benefits, although personally, I’d prefer it to look a bit more shiny and glowy on the skin.

The hydration it delivers is long lasting as is the gorgeous summery coconutty fragrance. It stays smelling lovely on the skin pretty much all day and my boyfriend said I smelt nice, even when I wasn’t actually wearing any fragrance.

If you’re looking for more of a glowy finish, you could layer this with the Summer Fridays Pool Time Glowing Body Oil (review) which I really like too. Or simply go for that one instead as it is also nice and hydrating.
