Body care is absolutely huge this year and with summer comes a glorious abundance of skin flattering body oils. Summer Fridays Pool Time is the brand’s first body product and hot on its heels is the Summer Silk Body Lotion that I’ll share with you soon. Here’s what you need to know.
What is Summer Fridays Pool Time?

- Shimmering body oil
- Uses a nourishing blend of macadamia, jojoba, apricot kernel and sunflower oils
- Enriched with Vitamin E to defend against free radicals and help to replenish skin’s lipids and support repair
- Works to deliver long-lasting hydration
- Ultra-fine minerals glisten on the skin for a subtle glow
- Smooths and gently fragrances the skin
- Uses the Summer Fridays’ signature summer scent of coconut, vanilla blossom and warm almond
The Scent
The fragrance of Summer Fridays Pool Time body oil is absolutely stunning and if you love a gourmand scent, this will be right up your street. I instantly get a really creamy, milky almond note that just feels so sensuously summery.
The blend of coconut and vanilla makes it beachy in a tropical paradise kind of way, which of course is just what we want! It’s like liquid sunshine in a bottle.

My Review
This new oil is a win for me, way beyond it’s seductive, mood-boosting scent.
The Texture
The texture is really lovely – rich enough to genuinely hydrate and nourish your skin, yet light enough to not make your clothes stick to you. It sinks in beautifully and feels comfortable and soothing.

The Finish
If you’re afraid of too much shimmer, you have nothing to fear with Summer Fridays Pool Time because the sparkle is chic and subtle. You can see the super-fine flecks of gold softly glisten and glint but there’s absolutely no disco ball vibes here.
The Results
What strikes me most about this body oil is how super soft it made my skin, even from the very first time I used it.

I actually wore it on a night out last week when I had bare legs and just wanted a bit of flattering shine. I was expecting some skin enhancing sparkle, and got that, but was very pleasantly surprised at the immediate skin benefits too.
It’s a brilliant dupe for the Tom Ford Soleil Blanc Body oil which I imagine somewhat inspired it.
