Earlier today I met Karen Sinclair Drake who is the founder and creator of SOPHYTO, a natural and professional anti-ageing skincare range.
Here is Karen, who’s 52, with the range. She uses nothing but SOPHYTO and she has the most amazing skin.
The range, as Karen puts it, is “inspired by nature and backed by science” and is anchored around the concept that we must work with, and not against, our skin’s pH and moisture levels to bring balance and health.
SOPHYTO uses the advanced science of Phytotherapy which, according to Wikipedia, is the study of the use of extracts from natural origin as medicines or health-promoting agents.
According to Karen Sinclair Drake, it is all about Mild Acidity. Simple as that! Mild Acidity is the ultimate condition for the skin to be at its best and absorb the ingredients in skincare, regardless of your skin type.
The SOPHYTO range has 9 products from a cleansers, a toner and serums, to an exfoliator, oil and moisturisers. It is very comprehensive and easy to understand and use and every product will help you achieve and maintain Mild Acidity.
I have been trying the SOPHYTO Tocotrienol Super Skin Concentrate and it is absolutely gorgeous – so soothing and gentle. It contains four different kinds of vitamin E which are particularly beneficial for anti-ageing and repairing sun damage.
I picked up the Daily Skin Essentials Collection at the launch. It is designed to balance the skin’s pH, regulate moisture and pack a serious anti-ageing punch.
SOPHYTO launches at Planet Organic in store and online 16th April 2012 with prices starting at £9.79.
Is pH level important for you? Do you strive for Mild Acidity?
If it’s the secret to the fountain of youth, I am certainly going to give it a whirl!
