I think many of us are in agreement that Soap and Glory are going from strength to strength when it comes to makeup. I have to say, I loved their Perfect Ten eyeshadow palette that launched at the end of 2014 and now there are brand new eye palettes to enjoy. Here’s one of them – the Soap and Glory Ultimatte Eyeshadow Palette. I have lots of photos and swatches for you.
So, as you may have guessed from the name, this is a matte palette. I know that is going to please a lot of you.

Soap and Glory Ultimatte Eyeshadow Shades & Swatches

- Conker All
- Pebble Power
- Stone Age
- Mauve Over
It’s a beautifully creamy formulation. Every shade is rich and pigmented and blends away with ease. I often find that the quality isn’t always there with matte shades – take, for example, MAC Carbon which is always pretty chalky and patchy. There’s no such problem with this collection of mattes, which is really impressive for the price point set by Soap and Glory.
And the shades are really lovely. I particularly love Pink-tuitive, Okey Cocoa and Mauve Over, and Liquorice is an excellent matte black, far superior to MAC Carbon. The packaging is basic cardboard but then you can’t expect luxury packaging for the price.
This is a really good palette and if you are looking for a bunch of matte neutrals, you could do a whole lot worse than this. Soap and Glory Ultimatte Eyeshadow Palette is £13 and available to order online HERE. Stay tuned for a post on the new Kick Into Neutral palette very soon.
