Smashbox Camera Ready CC Cream Dark Spot Correcting Review |
In 8 shades, the new Smashbox CC cream delivers light-medium coverage, evens out the skintone and also reduces the appearance darks spots and uneven skin-tone over time. It promises to prime, perfect and protect with SPF30 (excellent!) and also hydrate the skin and control oil at the same time.
Here’s a little swatch of the Smashbox Camera Ready CC Cream in shade Fair/Light which is a great match for my skin.

Smashbox Camera Ready CC Cream Dark Spot Correcting Review – After |
I used it over moisturiser and blended it in with my fingers. I found it blended easily and gave pretty good coverage. You can probably see that it has covered the little spot (how dare it??) that I have right about the outside corner of my mouth. It has a fairly matte finish and although I am more of a glow lover, I think this will be excellent for the summer months – particulary with its SPF30 and dark spot correction skincare benefits. I am obsessed with hyper-pigmentation. On further inspection, it does give a subtly glowy, radiant finish.
If you loved the Smashbox BB then you’ll like this, especially if pigmentation is an issue. The Smashbox Camera Ready CC Cream Dark Spot Correcting is available now at Boots for £29. Use it alone or under foundation for enhanced coverage.

This actually looks really good – I wasn’t expecting a CC cream to provide so much coverage! x

I’ve just bought this today. I actually went for the fair/light when I thought I would need fair neutral. I am very pale but with a slight yellow undertone. Even though this is shown on the box as being pinkish it swatched as yellowish on my skin so am not sure it would be right for a true porcelain complexion. Hope I got the right shade!! Excited to try it out in the morning 🙂
