You can always trust Sleek makeup to cover off a trend in an affordable yet super effective way and this little palette is a great example of that. If complexion perfection is your thing, then you may be interested to check out the brand new Sleek Colour Corrector Palette. Here’s the lowdown with photos and swatches.
So a little recap on colour correcting for you. This step is all about neturalising and balancing any tonal differences in the skin before applying foundation. The hope is that if you correct and neutralise blemishes and imperfections, you can create an even base for foundation and potentially use less of it to achieve a flawless look.
It is all based on colour theory and if you cast your mind back to school you may remember the colour wheel. Red is directly opposite green and this means that green can neutralise red and so works well to cover acne blemishes, rosacea, and other redness on the skin. And then of course there’s a whole world of colour (6 in this palette) that can help in different ways.
Sleek Colour Corrector Palette Shades & Swatches
- Green – neutralises rednesss; ideal for concealing scars and blemishes
- Lilac – neutralises yellow; ideal for brightening sallow, dull complexions
- Blue – neutralises orange; ideal for concealing freckles and hyperpigmentation
- Rose – adds radiance and evens out dark spots
- Yellow – neutralises purple; ideal for concealing under-eye circles on light skin tones
- Orange – neutralises blue; ideal for concealing under-eye circles on dark skin tones
It is a lovely creamy texture that melts upon contact – very similar to the formulation of Sleek’s cream contour kits that I really like. I shall be playing with the shades more on snapchat soon, so make sure you add me over there.
Sleek have given me a really interesting and useful tip for tired looking eyes. They suggest mixing pink and orange together to create a peach shade that’s perfect for brightening. I am really excited to try that.
The Sleek Colour Corrector Palette is £7.99 and is available to order online HERE.

These look so creamy and smooth! The only colour correction colour I’ve ever used is green but I really want to start trying some other colours out 🙂
