Sisley’s newest fragrance, Eau Tropicale, is a very pretty, fresh fragrance for summer and is inspired by a tropical rainforest. There are lots of my favourite notes in this, and it is really wearable and pleasing.

Eau Tropicale is one of those fragrances that gets nicer on my skin as time wears on. It opens with a floral blend of hibiscus, passionflower and frangipani with ginger and bergamot which I always find really uplifting.  At its heart is tuberose, turkish rose and violet which is just gorgeous and rests softly on an sensual base of cedarwood, patchouli and ambrette seed.

Sisley Eau Tropicale is a really fresh and clean scent that makes me feel really happy when I smell it. It is a modern scent that’s sexy but innocent at the same time which is quiet a hard balance to strike I think. It’s a wonderful scent of summer and I shall be getting lots of use from this for a great everyday fragrance. The only downside is that it isn’t quite as long lasting as I’d like. Prices start at £63.50 – find it at John Lewis.
