Sephora Pantone Rose Quartz & Serenity Collection

When I featured Pantone’s recent announcement of the Colour of the Year 2016 my thoughts turned extremely quickly to how Sephora would interpret the colours. I was all over last year’s Marsala but what would Rose Quartz & Serenity look like in makeup form? Here’s a look at the Sephora Pantone Rose Quartz & Serenity collection.

First of all, can I just say, how fast do they get all this together? Well not that fast because the announcement was only made yesterday and they wouldn’t have started from scratch of course, but you know what I mean! There are brands that know about the pantone colour of the year way before we do!

Last year was the first year I really took any notice and this was mainly because I got massively sucked in to the Pantone display in a New York Sephora last January. I bought quite a lot and clearly now I’m obsessed.

Things is, I am not entirely sure that pastel pink and blue is for me, but I am interested all the same.

It is such a pretty collection. I could stare at this all day and I really hope it’s in Sephora soon as I am in NYC next week and I’d love to take a look. I’m not sure it’s a range I’d really wear but maybe a piece for the collection?! Any excuse…
