Sephora Luster Matte Long Wear Lip Color Review, Magenta Swatch

I picked up some absolutely gorgeous beauty bits from almighty Sephora when I was in New York recently and one of my favourite pieces is the Sephora Luster Matte Long Wear Lip Color in Magenta. LOVE it!!

Before I even start to talk about the shade I picked, which was Magenta, I just have to say….WHY DIDN’T I BUY MORE OF THESE?! There are 12 shades available and I am absolutely kicking myself because 1) it’s amazing, 2) it’s only $16 and 3) the exchange rate is pretty good right now! Kicking myself!

Anyway, here’s the Sephora Luster Matte Long Wear Lip Color swatched in Magenta:

This shade is incredible. I may have to just get myself online and get a few others shipped to the UK, which is of course now possible! So I should tell you why I love it so much shouldn’t I?

Well, the Sephora Luster Matte Long Wear Lip Color is extremely densely pigmented, so you get a serious hit of colour. The applicator is perfectly shaped for precise application and the formula feels light as air and really rather indetectable. I love the finish of this – it is matte with a very soft, muted sheen… a lustre (luster) in fact! It is really flattering and makes my lips look full and voluptuous. And it lasts and lasts and lasts – through drinking, eating and lip licking – without drying out the lips. Amazing! The hydration factor is thanks to the rosehip oil included in the formula.
