Coined as the “Next Generation Dry Shampoo With Styling Benefits”, I have had a really fast play with the brand new Sebastian Professional Drynamic Dry Shampoo and I like it already!

Drynamic isn’t just about absorbing oil and refreshing the hair but also re-shaping it, creating texture and adding definition and volume whenever you fancy! This is thanks to a breakthrough formulation which comprises a combination of a Reset Foundation System and a Recharge technology.
That sounds really complicated but basically, regular dry shampoos are made up of square powder particles but Sebastian Professional Drynamic Dry Shampoo is made up of spherical powder particles which work in harmony with the hair and allows the style to be shifted and reshaped.
The Recharge technology claims to allow manageability and make styling much easier. Erm… no… I don’t really understand the technology, but not sure I need to!!
Adam Reed, Wella Style Ambassador, says that Sebastian Professional Drynamic Dry Shampoo is “my one stop shop product to revive and revitalise any hair type and style, refreshing, and adding amazing body.”

As I said I had a really quick play with it. I didn’t use any tools or brushes, I just parted my hair at the roots and lightly sprayed Sebastian Professional Drynamic into the root area around the front.

Then I massaged it in with my fingertips:

It is really light and actually feels nice in the hair, unlike lots of other dry shampoos. In fact, when I sprayed it on to my hand to see what it was like before I applied it, it actually made my skin really soft, not dry or chalky at all.
Obviously, this is the most basic way to use it and I am going to play with it to see what other more sophisticated ways I can put it to use. However, I love it so far.
Sebastian Professional Drynamic Dry Shampoo launches on 1st January 2014 – 212ml RRP £20/ €22.90, 75ml RRP £9.90/ €11.50.  Find Sebastion at Look Fantastic, Feel Unique and Beauty Bay.
