I am a bit of a newbie when it comes to Sarah Chapman. I just the Skinesis 3D Moisture Infusion Mask and loved it, but that’s the extent of my SC expertise. I jumped at the chance to try the newest product, the Sarah Chapman Skinesis Morning Facial especially as it offers great things on the plumping, wrinkles, brightening, defence and hydrating fronts. I could not wait to get it on!!

So! This is described as a morning elixir which will give the complexion a radiant look (yes!!) whilst minimising the appearance of lines (yes!) and making the skin plump, dewy and supple (yes yes yes!!).  OK calm down Ree!!

Sarah Chapman Skinesis Morning Facial contains potent actives that deliver protection from environmental aggressors and deal with inflammation. As well as intensely hydrating the skin, it also regulates sebum production with its serum/oil hybrid formula. It boosts collagen to increase firmness and elasticity. If your skin is looking dull or tired, or it needs a bit of a boost on those ‘morning after’ kind of days, then that’s when you pull this little baby out!

Sarah Chapman Skinesis Morning Facial Actions

Plumping – Juvinity protects cells from oxidative damage, Ultra Filling Spheres: low molecular weight hyaluronic acid and high molecular weight polysachharides are merged to swell and visibly smooth fine lines and wrinkles acting like a skin primer.

Wrinkles – Gatuline Intense works on the skin’s natural lifting properties by stimulating the fibroblast biomechanical functions helping to re-organize the dermis structure and visibly smooth the skin surface. Collageneer effectively increases skin firmness and elasticity by stimulating Type 1 Collagen synthesis. It also stimulates fibroblasts where it specifically ensures that a very high quality Collagen is produced.

Brightening – Maracuja oil (passion flower) is rich in vitamin C, calcium and phosphorus. The high content of essential fatty acids can stimulate the production of fibroblasts, cells that make collagen. TIMECODE inhibits free radicals (MMP’s) & Collagenase preventing the breakdown of the Extracellular Matrix and the synthesis of key genes. It prevents inflammation, which is now considered the main cause of premature skin ageing.

Defence – Vitamin A effectively protects against UV-induced collagen destruction and photo-damage by boosting cell renewal and increasing collagen fibres in the skin, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Kalpariane: An algae that helps protect the skin’s firmness and elasticity while boosting the synthesis of collagen and hyaluronic acid. It protects the skin efficiently with its anti-oxidant properties, a free radical scavenger, and an anti– collagenase.

Hydrating – Hydrasourcing is a complex of Mexican poppy cell and polysaccharides to correct skin imbalances at their source, repairing the skin’s moisture barrier. Argan Oil and Nyamplung oil contain up to 80% linoleic and oleic fatty acids, tocopherols and phenolic acids which help to repair damaged cells.

It has a whole lot going on!!

Sarah Chapman Skinesis Morning Facial – How To Use

Sarah Chapman Skinesis Morning Facial Review

I pop a couple of drops into my hand, warm it up in my palms and then massage it into clean skin whilst deeply inhaling. It has the most beautiful jasmine and neroli aroma which is just perfect to get you going in the morning. As long as you don’t use too much – a little goes a long way – it sinks beautifully into the skin, giving it a fresh, juicy look that usually only a good amount of sleep can deliver.

It says you can use it under or over moisturiser, but the texture is so beautiful, that I’d hate to put something in the way of it, if you know what I mean? Apparently you can pat the tiniest bit over makeup to get that glow going again, but I haven’t tried that yet. I am pretty keen to though.

At £45, it’s a bit of a luxury, but you need the smallest amount and I think I may pull it out just when I really need a boost. Saying that, I think I feel a bit of an addiction coming on, so that may go out of the window!

Sarah Chapman Skinesis Morning Facial is available now at Space NK.
