MAC RiRi Hearts Mac Holiday 2013: Veluxe Pearlfusion Shadow Phresh Out Palette Review, Photos, Swatches.

I am quite a lot in love with this RiRi Hearts Mac Eye Shadow palette. It is the prettiest collection of golden, light neutrals. This is RiRi Hearts Mac Phresh Out.

I love it. It is such a feminine, pretty palette and I have to say, I wasn’t expecting something as beautifully subtle and flattering as this from a Rihanna collection.  The Veluxe Pearlfusion formula is one that can be used wet and dry. I have swatched and used it dry in the above photos, but when used wet you can achieve much more of a metallic opacity which is really stunning. I’ll try to show you that soon.

I really like the rose gold of the packaging, and it has a lovely magnetic close that is very satisfying.  I think I am going to be using this loads! The glitters are great to pat on top of cream shadows for extra intensity and staying power, but if you use them alone, they are very soft and not at all ‘in your face’ like some glitter shadows. It’s really quite a versatile palette.

This is the last collection that Rihanna will be doing with MAC which makes it even more certain to sell out!

The Limited Edition RiRi Hearts Mac Collection will preview exclusively at Selfridges from 5th December 2013. It will go nationwide release from 12th December 2013. The Veluxe Pearlfusion Shadow Phresh Out Palette costs £33.
