Here is some more exciting Rimmel London news. They have launched a brand new gel system nail polish formulation and it’s pretty lovely! Here are some swatches of the Rimmel Super Gel Nail Polish.

It has a lovely thick tapered brush, which makes application super quick.

All you have to do is apply 2 coats of colour, and then finish with a coat of the Supergel top coat. The top coat application activates the self-curing process and then natural light does the rest. You can remove it easily with regular nail polish remover.

Although it says you don’t need a base coat – I still used one because I have really porous nails and they stain very easily. I absolutely love the 2 shades I have, both of which are Kate shades.

I love the thick look of the finish which really smooths the nail surface and gives a gorgeously glossy shine. My mum is testing the red shade so I shall try to update as soon as I have news on staying power.
