Well this is exciting! Rimmel have launched an instant tan BB cream which not only gives your skin that all over glow, but also perfects, covers and evens out skin tone, just as a BB cream for the face would. This is Rimmel Sunshimmer Instant Tan BB Perfector. It comes in 2 shades – light and medium – and promises 9-in-1 action.

Ha ha to my little stripe of lily white skin poking through! The funniest part is that even that bit has fake tan on already! I am SO white!
It is really easy to apply – it blends seamlessly into the skin without the need for a moisturiser beforehand thanks to its hydrating formula, then it sets itself for 24 hours (promising!!). When you are done the colour just washes off with soap and water so there’s no need to worry about any long term commitment.
Here is a before and after shot of Instant Tan BB Perfector in Light Matte on my hand so you can judge it’s BB skills (perfecting, radiance etc):

The Rimmel Sunshimmer Instant Tan BB Perfector texture is silky soft and leaves a flattering velvet finish with glow on the skin. It also goes a long way to making the skin appear more even. 
I am going to leave these swatches on and update you soon on how they wear. If it’s good news, I think I’ll pop the light shade on for the BRITS tomorrow as I would quite like to show a bit of skin. I am going to use gloves as I think the time it takes to cover larger areas could mean a bit of short term staining.
Rimmel Sunshimmer Instant Tan BB Perfector is out now at Superdrug and Boots for £6.99. Also new to the Sunshimmer range is the Pre Tan Exfoliator which Rimmel recommends we use to prep for Instant Tan. It costs £3.99, however, I can’t find it online yet. Will give it a whirl and update soon.
